Come listen to some great stories, or sign up to tell your own story!
On Saturday June 10, we will host a night for sharing stories -- any true story you want to tell. It could be funny, strange, serious, or mysterious, as long as it's true. It could be a piece of new writing, or a gem from your childhood.
If you want to sign up to tell your story, contact Tanya today. Please keep your story to under 5 minutes in length.
A message from Pastor Trevor Josh:
"I believe God has called each one of us together to be His people at Cityview at this time. And I believe each one of us has an important part to play in discerning what He is calling us to be and do. Consequently, I need your help.
I would ask you to take a few moments to look at the survey below, pray about it, and complete it. It will help us to get a clearer vision of how we are to move forward at Cityview.
This is one of the most important things we will do this year, so please be a part of it!"

Christmas is coming to the world.......and Cityview!
We begin the season of Advent this Sunday by lighting candles and waiting for the Light of the World to come. We wait for the coming of the King who brings hope, and peace, and joy, and love. Come and join us. We will hosting two special Christmas gatherings:
Sunday 18th December 10am - Family Christmas @ Cityview (A special time when the children join us to tell the story of Christmas)
Saturday 24th December 6.30pm - Candlelight Christmas @ Cityview (A reflective time of song, readings and candlelight)
Please put these dates on your calendar and make every effort to come and invite friends and family to join us.
We will not be holding a gathering on the 25th December. We encourage you to meet with each other during the day and open your homes to those who may be on their own without family near by.
We will gather on Sunday 1st January but please note the later start time of 11am.
We will continue our tradition of showing outrageous generosity to the Cityview community. Please join us on the Cityview front lawn on Halloween evening to hand out hot chocolate and a whole lot of Halloween candy! Fun, non-scary costumes are encouraged! If you can help set up, we will start at 5pm.
Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are in now! Grab your boxes from the shelf at the back of the sanctuary and fill them according to the instructions on the flyer. Filled shoeboxes must be back to Cityview by November 13 in order to be shipped overseas in time for Christmas.

This summer, from July 18 - 22, kids in our community will be participating in Cityview’s annual summer day camp. Kids will be going on a treasure hunt as they sail with the Cap'n to discover what it means to find real Treasure in life. They will interact with Jesus as he calls his disciples, walks on water, feeds the crowds, heals the sick, and calms the storm. We’d love for everyone at Cityview to participate with us! Here’s how you can be a part:
For opportunities to share Jesus with children.
For opportunities to connect with parents during the
For safety throughout the week.
For good health and good sleep for the mission team and
the Vancouver leaders.
For wisdom, joy, love, patience, and a spirit of generosity
to be evident in the lives of all the leaders.
Come On Over
Drop by any time during the week to say “THANK YOU!” to the mission team.
