The Seed-to-Sky Garden Club meets in our building and expertly maintains the community garden in our parking lot. The Garden Club welcomes Cityview’s plant enthusiasts to join them in their program of ongoing learning.

Presentation:   

Learn how to successfully grow vegetables and flowers in containers by selecting the right type of containers, the right type of soil and the correct routine for fertilizing that your individual plant type requires. Will also include the varieties that grow best in containers.

Our Presenter:

Marilyn Holt is a gardening enthusiast, international speaker, and once owned a pelargonium nursery.  She was the editor of the BC Council of Garden Clubs ‘ The Bulletin’ and Garden Center Manager for Abbotsford Buckerfields.  She shares her knowledge by putting on workshops and seminars for Buckerfiels and speaking to garden

clubs and groups.

What to bring:

• a mug for tea

• a donation for the draw or refreshments table

• a chair cushion if you get a metal chair

• $5 drop in fee for non-members

• a friend or neighbour
