GIVING TO CITYVIEW CHURCH
Gifts to support the work and ministry of Cityview Church can be made by
Interac e-transfer: In your banking app or online banking, set up giving@cityviewchurch.ca as a recipient. A security question is not needed because we have auto-deposit. Donations from outside of Canada cannot be done by e-transfer.
PayPal: Give through PayPal using a credit card or a VISA debit card. Both Canadian and International donations can be made through Paypal. You do not need a PayPal account to give in this way.
GIVING TO OPENTABLE
To designate your gift specifically for OpenTable, write a note in the comment section of your e-transfer or select “Open Table” from the Paypal drop-down menu.
TAX RECEIPTS
If you are using Interac e-transfer and want to receive a tax receipt, please email giving@cityviewchurch.ca and tell us your mailing address. If you are using PayPal, you will enter your address as part of the donation process.

Cityview Church is a registered Canadian charity (Charitable BN / Registration #: 10743 4334 RR0001). Donors will receive a tax deductible receipt in February for all donations given during the year provided we've received contact information including the full name of the donor and a way to send them the receipt (ie. mailing address or email address).

Designated Giving Policy
All designated fund accounts are classed as 'special purpose trust funds' in keeping with Canada Revenue Agency, which means all donations to such funds can only be used by Cityview Church as designated/restricted by the donor. As such, Cityview Church has adopted the following policy.
Spending of funds is confined to Support LeadershipTeam (SLT) approved programs and projects. Each contribution designated toward a SLT approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met or cannot be completed for any reason determined by the SLT, the remaining restricted contributions designated for such program and project will be used where needed most. Donations not received with the designation clearly indicated will not be recorded as designated.
Please Note: We are not able to accept donations that are designated/restricted to unapproved projects, programs, or ministries; or for other organizations that are not registered Canadian Charities. We will contact the donor should this occur.
