Into The Wild Camp registration is Now Open

A "Wild" Summer Day Camp 2018 for you!  Join us 23rd July - 27th July 2018 for Into the Wild.

Camp Registrations can be dropped off at the church at any time. If the building is closed, please use the mail slot.

This summer we're going Into the Wild and we need young adventurers to join us! During this amazing adventure, we will learn how to survive in the wilderness and live exciting lives with God by our side. The Into The Wild campers will love the art, science, games, drama, stories, music, snacks and daily surprises that are all part of the adventure!

At the end of the week, we'll make our way through the jungle of Vancouver to a secret destination for a special field trip! So, put on your hiking boots, pack your supplies and come share a week of wacky wildness with the gang at Cityview.

Click here to download the registration form. Register soon as we have a limited number of places this year. Camp Registrations can be dropped off at the church at any time. If the building is closed, please use the mail slot.

See you in July!

Week of Prayer

Plan to join in our Week of Prayer January 7-14, 2018.

We have Cityview community members who have signed up to pray for every single hour of this week. Even if you have not signed up, please pray for Cityview this week.

Keep a prayer journal. If God speaks to you during this specially-set-aside week, we want to hear from you! Contact Pastor Trevor.

Here are some Week of Prayer tips from Trevor:

Great news! All 24 hour slots have been filled for our week of prayer. Which means that there will be someone praying for God's work at Cityview each and every hour for the next week! How exciting is that!!!

Here are a few tips to help you pray.

1. Keep a pen and paper, or your phone close by in order to jot down any thoughts or insights that you have whilst praying. I would love to have some feedback from you and next Sunday there will be an opportunity for us to share what happened during our time of prayer.

2. Each time you pray during the week, try to use the Lord's Prayer as your template. I suggest using it in this way:- (not compulsory but may help).

Our Father…Hallowed be your name – Give thanks and remember who He is to you (friend, helper, Saviour etc)

Your Kingdom come, your will be done – What is it that we, at Cityview, need to focus on this year. What is His will for us. How are we to be a Christ-Centered Community.

Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us – What is stopping me being the person I am called to be, what is stopping us being the community we are called to be. Is it sin, fear, apathy

For yours is the Kingdom, power and the glory – Finish by praising Him once more and asking him to fill you with His power.

If you experience anything during your time of prayer which may encourage the rest of us, or any tips that help you, then send them through to me and I'll share.

Be expectant as you pray!

Storytelling Night

Come listen to some great stories, or sign up to tell your own story!

On Saturday June 10, we will host a night for sharing stories -- any true story you want to tell. It could be funny, strange, serious, or mysterious, as long as it's true. It could be a piece of new writing, or a gem from your childhood.

If you want to sign up to tell your story, contact Tanya today. Please keep your story to under 5 minutes in length.

Cityview Vision Survey

A message from Pastor Trevor Josh:

"I believe God has called each one of us together to be His people at Cityview at this time. And I believe each one of us has an important part to play in discerning what He is calling us to be and do. Consequently, I need your help.

I would ask you to take a few moments to look at the survey below, pray about it, and complete it. It will help us to get a clearer vision of how we are to move forward at Cityview.

This is one of the most important things we will do this year, so please be a part of it!"

Click here to take the survey.
